Its a ground thing. Doesn't want to run him on Heavy two races in a row. Nowt wrong with him. They'll wait for better Ground somewhere. I have the same reservations re Paisley Park.

The 2 most obvious horse in the Novice handicap that may take the step up at the festival in one of the all age handicaps are without doubt.

Espoir de Romay - already found by many and priced up about right.

Lieutenant Rocco - no fuckers priced it up yet. (anything 20+ would be decent)

I've backed Espoir today as the talk has started, and doubt I'll be able to steal a price in running like last year.
But will try to do so, of course.

Probably a bit tight that price, given the connections.
Think they might step up to Ultima as well, and this may bring extra improvement.
I've took the any race price now and hope he's competitive in one of the handicaps and I get a run for my money.

...general consensus is he’ll be handicapped out. In the post-race comments, Asst Trainer suggests NHC most likely but the Irish National could be a fly in the ointment if they want to target that;
