Looking at recent results then you have a limited band of contenders from 137 to 145 that have finished in the first three places in the last seven years (apart from one second place).

This is now the only chase with rating restrictions, with maximum OR 145.

Jamie Codd with three winners has been to go-to jockey in this race, though hasn’t registered a win for four years, his rides have started at 5/2, 3/1F and 5/2 F, so if you know what The Codfather may ride then you probably will see him vying for favouritism.

All dates for entries etc have been moved forward 6 days to match the race being 6 days later in 2021.

No Jump Racing Pattern programme has been produced yet, so we dont know these entry dates for sure yet, nor the prize money values (I will update in full when these are known)

Gordon Elliott has managed an opening handicap mark over fences of 136 for RUN WILD FRED.

That's been enough to get into all 9 Kim Muir's since the top rating was raised from 140 to 145 in 2012.
One to put into your tracker for the Kim Muir.

That's a very interesting mark. With any tax he'd be safe still.

Completely agree with you here Saxon. I had him backed any race pre-season but this is now the only race I want him so cashed for full stake after his last run with an eye on backing him in this when the markets get going.

Hills have a market and make him 33/1

He's the one I've had in mind for this since last year. With his running style he was always going to be one of the easier horses to get handicapped especially with Gordon.

Don't think it would be in anybody's interest to get him priced up though. Prob get a bigger price if we wait

.....just wonder if these individual handicap race threads should be kept behind the ‘diary wall’.

it’s seems increasingly likely that anything identified early in here as a ‘plot’ might get immediate attention from others, causing the price to be impacted.

I am greedy and want cash out

He's not one I'm in a major rush with at this stage. I don't think he's about to do anything to make everyone pile in (except appear in this forum perhaps)!

There's lots of great content every day on this forum, all free for anyone to read and make plans from, maybe that is why Twitter tipsters pick the same horses as we discussed two weeks earlier - then wreck the price by tipping them to their audience.

Maybe more could be behind a firewall.

I'll set up a discussion on this. Needs exploring.

With that mark they may not be able to resist the PP handicap chase at Leopardstown on the 27th, worth e82.5k to the winner. Big price 33/1 with the sponsors

Would be interested in him for the National.
