Had my eye on Escaria Ten in the Ultima for a while and will probably start using him as the base of many multis, his novice form obviously looks solid and being kept off the track until yesterday tells a story. the Irish capper will no doubt give him a helping hand which might mean he gets to run here off about 150.
Porticello still looks big to me, appears to have the best UK form on offer.
I've been coming round to the idea that Zanihiyr is improving for open company and could go very well in the Champion Hurdle.
Iberique du Seuil has looked a plot for the Fred Winter since his debut defeat. nortonscoin200 suggested Porlock Bay and it's hard to argue against it. charlie reports Tiger in fine form round the XC course today.
McNeil's have stated Kiltealy Briggs is their likely runner in the Ultima so I wouldn't back Escaria without NRNB.
Tiger Roll and Porlock Bay I'd agree with as another vote for the yankee

Tiger definitely worth it @ 5/1. Didn't learn much today re ability over the obstacles cause he always schools well, it was more his wellbeing following a run 6 days prior at the age of 12, and how happy Davy and the travelling staff were in how he took ethusiastic he was.

That’s the only concern with the horse no ?
His ability is unquestioned, but at some point Old Father Time will catch up with him and given his appearance today that doesn’t look to be hitting any time soon…

Testing ground would also be a worry for me.
On good to soft or good I'd make him favourite but if it came up soft I reckon he'd struggle.

This gets mentioned a fair bit re Tiger Roll but the year he won the cross country by 20 odd lengths on the bridle was as deep as I’ve ever known that cross country ground to be, I know I carry a little overweight these days but it was remarkable how deep you sank into the ground when walking on it.
Given their inability to irrigate the course I’d be more concerned if it didn’t rain and ground came up rattling quick, in fact I doubt they’d risk him…
Frontal assault has been popular off the back of this weekends run, and Native River made a really strong case for Galahad quest who ran well on Saturday.
I'd have no issue with spirit being included for pertemps although 25/1 nrnb seems skinny compared to prices I remembered seeing last year - guess that's due to his better form and bookies generally being tighter.
Tiger roll and flooring porter look really solid top 3 'bankers' if doing ew with a few at bigger prices
Will have a read through the thread tomorrow evening or possibly even Tuesday but the Yankee itself will be up by Wednesday (2nd). Plenty of good shouts made so thanks as always.
