      • ....Night Edition interests me at a price in Morebattle. 2nd in last years Boodles, not much to write home about this term but Pipe stable has a record of pulling off a Festival bonus. Not sure a 5lb rise will be enough to get in here.

Didn't realise he had an entry this weekend. Needs to win but should get in if he does.

Thanks for highlighting. Very nearly beat Aramax didn't he.

          • I've added 0.5pts EW Pileon @ 56/1 with Hills. Obviously disappointing this season over fences and last time out over hurdles, but he was a very good second in this last year and the price with 5 places looked huge.

            • Why is no one talking about our favourite: Column of Fire whose in off 145? I was expecting to see about 50 postings with smiley faces.

Gentleman De Mee getting 6 pounds from him is much more appealing. His run LTO was good on the clock and he did it easy, with Willie saying he will improve for it as they'd only just got him ready.

He looks a really good fit for this on form, rating, trainer won this 3 times, and JPMcManus the owner.

                  • The race Gentleman de mee won looks like it was rubbish

Not sure what to make of him personally

                    • Just watched the naas race he won

He looked a bit babyish and will need to improve his jumping

Raw ability is probably there, but will he be streetwise enough to cope with a big field Cheltenham handicap?

His first 2 jumps at naas were very high and slow and he bungled the last

And still won comfortably in a time much faster than the other 2m hurdle races on the day. He's miles better than a 139 horse

...mentioned him a few weeks ago, Hobbs saying he’s the one who has truly gone under the radar.

Those other races were also terrible though

The 3:25 was won by a 10 race maiden rated 108

the 12:35 the comments for the front runner read "led at slow pace" so no surprise they ran a slow time

Fair play anyone on at nice prices but as someone who missed them I cant see any value in his current price of 13/2

He'd need a huge turn around in form though. He's looked dreadful this season. Maybe better ground could see an improvement though.
