Hills have cut wide receiver for the pipe. 20 from 25s. Any bloody excuse.

Anyway he can still be backed any race at 20s should he end up anywhere else than here which is obviously a no brainer if backing win only.

Wide Receiver will not be winning anything at the Fez. Not good enough to travel over imo.

I'll take the risk and have taken 20s TWAR with Hills. He's now 16s for the Martin Pipe. Hopefully he is much better than his initial handicap rating of 129.

This race will suit that horse big time, strong pace and he is such a strong finisher, he got a uk mark of 140 last week so has to be careful if reassessed before the festival but he should be sub 145 even if top of the weights come the race.

Eskylane could be another for this race too.

I think you could well be right NC200, not sure I'm brave enough to take the 25s though. He'll have a few in the Pipe, one will be "the one" though

I thought he got outpaced today but stayed on well in what was heavy ground
my immediate thought watching him was that he could be a Bartlett horse

He'd probably fall short of the quality required for a G1 even over 3m though don't you think?

My immediate thought was a handicap over 3m, which only really gives the Pertemps at Cheltenham.....but perhaps they'll be looking at other pots with him?

Depends who shows up in the Bartlett Kev
it’s not always a classy horse that wins it
one with a bit of racing experience that can obviously stay very well
i was wondering when I posted what your ( column of fire ) horse was this year
maybe a bit too early to unleash it yet
still getting over last year,so unlucky
