Saldier has to come here now doesn't he ??? No chance in the Churdle and looks to have declined a little. Perfect race for him. He'll be dropped a bit wouldn't he ??

And his price is fucking awful.
If it's been a plan from day one then backers might be on to something, but it would look a shit plan right now with Willie having nothing for the champion hurdle itself.
If you think you're well in for the county off 159 then you'd go close in this years champion hurdle.
But you never know, as they may enter him and get a mark in the lower reaches of 150, as he's a tricky horse to rate in the UK.
Low 150's may tempt them to run.

Both Saldier and Saint Roi should be getting drops after their last couple of performances.
Saint Roi won a handicap off 137 and I’m not sure he’s really done anything to justify being raised from the 137 he was given there
Saldier equally should be dropped to the mid 150s, two 6th places this season. The handicapped is very quick to raise these horses 10+lbs but then refuses to drop anything by more than 2lbs.

I thought there’d be more handicappers in my notebook after this weekend. There was however at least one in the 2m hurdle on Saturday.
Eclair De Beaufeu - Sent off 8/1 in this 2yrs ago as a 5yo off 136 when sauntering to the front in the straight, only to then look beaten when unseating at the last. He came back last year to be 2nd in the Grand Annual off 149, finding only Chosen Mate too good. He’s probably handicapped to the hilt over fences, but not so over hurdles. He’s reverted to hurdles this year and was a keeping on 6th on Saturday off an Irish 135 when the market suggested it wasn’t going to be his day. Likely to head to the County next off a mark much lower than last year’s GA. He’s 25/1 NRNB and I’m really surprised that price has held.- Plenty of big field handicap form
- Cheltenham form
- Trained by a handicap wizard
- Competitive mark
- Still only 7
- If he doesn’t run you get you money back

I knew I was right to give it the big'un when you came back.
That ticks so many boxes for me.... returning to a race after being a fav previously at a much bigger price is an angle I absolutely love.
Love it.
