'm a bit wary of family members in green and gold hoops after FS yesterday, but maybe the Arctic Fire clan are made of sterner stuff.

Bachasson would be of interest for this race after what he just done.
Ran in the Coral Cup last year off 148.
Rated same today and might not get put up too much looking at the placed horses, and weights today.
Probably doesn't need to front run either and may just be better in a strongly run 2 mile race.

Been a great horse for them and gets placed well over there.
For me, with some horses the trip don't matter so much.
Probably not get a chance to find out who's right or wrong anyway.
And there's no need to be so adamant Daryl

Or at least try and remember it.
People have heard me going on about trips before, more than once.
I could name 150 runners (don't ask me too though, cos I won't) from previous Gold Cups that would not have won that race today.
And If you carry on, poor old Andy will have to retire his stopwatch.

Ive heard Andy has had a period of reflection and has returned to the sundial methods to keep it simple.

....Ladbrokes have a ‘special’ that I’m quite sure has been sitting there for a while (before her win at the weekend);
Miranda to win County Hurdle @ 40-1 (45-1 with boost).
it’s as low as 16-1 with 365, 20-1 NRNB and 25-1 best price with Hills.Last edited by Eggs; 1 February 2021, 11:53 AM.

She looked good beating Floressa on Saturday. She was entitled to win that race as she was getting 4lb and both had 143 ORs. Cant see how the handicapper can raise her more than 1 or 2lbs
