I see where you're coming from Lobos. I genuinely believe Saldier to be a top Grade 1 horse, but appreciate he probably falls 50/50 between being what I believe him to be, and ending up in a race like the County.

A horse that has gone under the radar here is Master Mcshee

        form lines are brilliant

Getting beat 21/2 lengths by Appreciate it

beating Atlantic Story who hacked up at Limerick over Christmas by 81/2 lengths conceding 12 lbs

Then winning a very competitive handicap at leopardstown by 5 lenghts

if he was trained by one of the big guns he would be half the price

I was trying to get him in the novice hurdle markets a few weeks back, after he won the handicap that day.
His mark is the issue (in the UK) for the formline reasons you've mentioned.
He may end up in the Ballymore or have another crack at Appreciate It.

Both him and Sea Ducor will be interesting if for some reason the marks are decent.

going to stick a few points on him for this nrnb 14s

Do you think there any other likely Dan Skelton candidates for this race, aside from Cadzand? He has a fairly good record in this over the past few years 3 winners out of the last 5, not a bad stat!!

Given his ownership i'd say Sea Ducor will be running at DRF and very much trying..might not help his mark!

I am pretty sure they are desperate to get Proschema mark up but every time an opportunity has presented itself the weather has done it’s worst. I believe he is ridiculously ahead of his mark on goodish ground. They need to somehow find him a winnable race and then hope he gets in near the bottom and then do a sun dance

Yep, he may be one to double up actually.
Depends on his post Dublin rating.
                    He's 135 now isn't he ?

Yes, THIRD TIME LUCKI (OR 144) and October Cheltenham Maiden winner FAIVOIR (OR 131) are both in the entries with Cadzand for the Betfair Hurdle next month, those two need close attention.

Faivoir would need a rise in the.weights a few lbs to get in to the County.

PROSCHEMA (OR 131) is another, he was only 5/1 in November’s Greatwood Hurdle.

Hi SW was it your money that reduced Llandinabo from 18/1 to 12/1 with PP

No it wasnt, I saw the prices and thought they looked decent though.

Hi SW .... what are your thoughts re Proschema. I have had him on my mind for this for bloody ages and it has been so frustrating that he hasn’t managed to get his mark up. He is ground dependent. My play should they find him the right race will be to have the 40 with hills waiting while I watch in running and hit the button if he looks like winning. I totally get the whole novice angle but I think this fella is lurking and if the ground comes right I can see a bit of a plunge happening.

If it comes up Good to Soft or better then Milkwood off 141 would be my current, tentative pick although there is a chance he'll go for the Betfair instead (I would not fancy him to be able to follow up). He has few miles on the clock for a 7yo and still unexposed in my eyes. The way he travels will be suited to a big field, fast paced handicap so he could be competitive in a big handicap at some point this season. He's got some tidy form in the book too, especially when you factor in that he's had some bad luck in running.
