Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Took a chance with Gordon's Saint Daroux at 33/1 after Anthony Bromley said last night he is going for this race. Will need a few to come out but his 3rd in last year's Boodles stands up plus good place form this season. Well under the radar.

He was withdrawn from a Graded Chase this morning, at Navan on Saturday, which is a good sign.

I backed him as soon as I saw him in the entries, taking a punt he wouldnt get a hike in ratings towards his chase rating. Thats paid off....so far

Followed you in on this one Lobos - he's got a great profile for the race.

Also, the fact they have him entered for the Pipe as well implies they feel he'll get the trip well enough off the perfect mark (138).

Staggering stat shos 7 of the last 10 winners of this have been rated between 137 and 139.

            Good luck young man.

            • Money seems to be coming for Magic Tricks now. Could be as simple as David Jennings mentioning him to be fair.
But Considering connections and his mark also being in the sweet spot.
This price shortening may be telling.
He looked the better handicapped of the JP horses on weights day, so this makes sense.
Cayd Boy just doesn't seem as well treated. Other JP horses have obvious negatives and have not seen any support.

Having been on the Magic Tricks bus for firstly the bumper, then the Supreme, after his decent looking run in his p2p and being a brother to Abacadabras it would be rude of me to not now back him for an easier race like the County Hurdle really.

                • Prob because David Jennings is blowing his trumpet about him, i have old any race bets for him when i thought he would do well but don’t think he would run well here even if better ground is needed for him.

That is great news, amid the carnage of Giggy withdrawals.
