Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • I agree, and he's a nrnb horse.

The jumpers bumper also protects a very good mark, as was also the case with Not That Fuisse today.
He's made no secret he thinks he's much better than his mark but appears adamant he needs a sound surface to showcase it.

He did also say Mohayyed had no chance in the ground the day he won.

True but he pulled him from Muss and ran no race in the Greatwood so you can sort of see why he wants to keep him to better ground. End of the day we make our own decisions not just off of trainers say so but i think plenty would prefer a good to soft over a soft to heavy for him.

Yeah, he just make 'take his chance' anyway but drift to a big price because he keeps saying about the ground... I know some cashed him out that day because he was so adamant....

            Just worth noting is all

Yes I agree, but I also like it when he stays low key about an obviously well handicapped horse. He's won on soft, and I'm more inclined to write the Greatwood off. That wasn't his running at all. If he gets in on anything like usual Festival ground he's seriously well handicapped.

He has got a lot better horses this season, so the days of staying low key may be slowly drawing away, ready for him to run into the “Full” Paul Nicholls clone.

                • Yes maybe, but he has a bit of the 'Gordon' about him when it comes to handicaps. I think he's a bit shrewder in that respect than his old boss. Having saif that Nicholls isn't averse to the odd touch either.

                  • Dare I say it... Blue Sari?

Running the Saturday in the 2m handicap hurdle at DRF, one to watch I reckon.

Hoping for a nice 5th or 6th under gentle handling

Any reason he wouldn't bne running on merit?

I've looked at a few of the Mullin's "long absentees" including Sari and Uradel. WPMs runners from time off no negative.

Personally, if they ran at the DRF, I'd be thinking that's why they're running...rather than a plot towards a festival race.

                              He'll either go off 5/1 or 25/1

I'd agree with that. Very much looking forward to some of these decs now "off topic".
