Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Atholl Street surely goes to Aintree.

I seem to recall at some point Nicholls has suggested that, but I can't find the quote.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

I’ve not heard that but it fits more with how Nicholls does things. They seem to think a lot of him and will be interesting to see how he goes at the weekend, if he turns up.

      • Topped up again on Bob Olinger @ 12/1 EW NRNB. HDB refuses to commit him to the Ballymore and is clearly keeping the door open. I smell a rat.

No brainer isn’t it? What does he go off if he turns up here? 3/1 2nd fav? You’d probably treble your money with a cash out.

          • Might have me a little nrnb dabble on bob for this, does make sense to cover this race, just incase. Cheers for the idea lads.

Might be no harm to double it up with Gaillard Du Mesnil or Bravemansgame as a related double if you fancied either over BO for the Ballymore anyway..

              • Could Elliot send Teahupoo for the Supreme maybe? Same owners of Bob Olinger. You'd think they'd know where they stand with the front two in the triumph and might want to swerve them. Getting the weight could be appealing too.

I've backed Bob for the ballymore but would obviously be a bit miffed if he came out and won the supreme so the nrnb cover seems sensible. If he does run here I'd have him as second favourite and a big danger to the favourite.

                  • If the going comes up Good to Soft, Soft - decent ground, better than the last 2-3 years which have pretty much been a bog... would folks start worrying about Appreciate It?

... yeah I'm still here, trying to get AI beat... somehow!

                    • BLUE LORD

                      Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle

We could see Blue Lord in there as well. After he won his maiden at Punchestown I was thinking two and a half for him, but when I ran him at Naas he was too free. I think his jumping is good enough and maybe we’ll just have a bolder approach to how we ride him. I know connections have entered him in the County Hurdle this morning, but I’m not sure he has the expertise to jump with them in the County. He might have the ability but I’m not sure he has the technique yet and I’d rather have him with the novices.

                        Boodles much more likely.

I think Bob Olinger would go off 2nd fav.... I'd rate him more than I rate Metier and probably Ballyadam....

The NRNB prices for him are just great bets.

There is absolutely feck all chance he would go off single figures....so at absolute worst you'd be able to trade out for a free bet.

Lots of faffing, but it's a smart play IMO.

Already on, think you my have mentioned it previously and it made sense to back NRNB

                              • I took the 200/1 skybet special Bolly and Appreciate It to win any race, thinking there was maybe a chance AI would go up in trip!

Having spent ages thinking it was dead, then suddenly back to life, it would really typify the last year of my life if they both end up in the Supreme
