Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

At face value it rules out a left field move for one of them, but it’s the slight resignation he appears to have in doing so. I wonder if he will try and work on either owner to see if they were willing to redirect here? I’d imagine He’d have more chance with Z given that Q’s owners have Ballyadam who was far better this time out and has a live chance himself.
Dont think Quilixios can run in Supreme as not a Novice, so only option Zan

He does have Ballyadam here, but only he knows how Ballyadam would compare with Zan at weights

1 run as Kev says in the chelt bumper and the other when WPM's bumper horses were well documented as needing their runs....and as for Daryl Carter

        • Second in the bumper counts as decent course form to me

WPM is certainly in the market for a CH contender!
He may have one...Shewearsitwell .....50s for next year's Champion Hurdle
Perhaps there will be three mares at the top of the market next year.

              Yes.
And part of the reason their were other lesser horses nearer to him at the finish than likely in a stronger run race IMO.
And also explains why Quilixios time was better as the pace set by Saint Sam was suicidal.

For Pleasure should help give Appreciate it a target for a long way on the actual supreme.

                That's how he talks.
He'd have said it that way if there was only one option.

                  • Sorry to bang this drum again but could Third Time Lucki's poor run at Musselburgh yesterday open the door for My Drogo here? Had a bet of 0.6pts on the Exchange at 46.0.

Indeed !! , Done this as well Moby , I'm willing to Chance a few bob . If Ferny was to be the supreme hotshot this year , Not unreasonable to think Arkle or
Champion hurdle would be on the Radar for next year ........ i.m.opinion .

Any win is a good win. But for the hype, the 2/11, 1/5 price that he was i felt that there wasn't that x-factor. As mentioned, maybe a bit underwhelmed - he won cosily but i thought he had a bit more turn of foot. The race was won 2 out when he had the field at it.

Not sure where your prices are coming from?

                          (Morning price: 8/11 4/6 4/7 8/15 1/2 4/9 2/5)
                          (Ring price: 2/5 4/11 1/3) SP 1/3fav

I can't disagree that you might have felt it was underwhelming, we saw some more impressive performances that day/weekend!

Putting away that field 2 out, for me, was impressive...and I didn't think he'd get caught... I also don't think he needs more of a turn of foot to win the Supreme... I think if he ran to the exact same level, that'll be good enough.

                          • I saw Racing Post described his victory as emphatic rather than exceptional and that perfectly described my feelings watching it. Feelings are very subjective though!
