Aye and it's getting tempting for cash out purposes. I had a 4pt 'saver' (like many on here i'm well in with him for the Ballymore so it would help soften the blow...) on him in the Supreme NRNB which can now be cashed out for a 2pt profit. Surely he sticks to the Ballymore?

Got to leave it haven't we ?
        If Appreciate It drops out.
        He'd definitely run here.
No other reason to leave him in.
Might cash out Sunday morning though if no news by then.

Even if Appreciate drops out would he definitely run? Surely Henry would rather have a dart in each race? Don't think that's why they've left him in... think it would be in case there was some sort of deluge more than anything.

Cant see it myself. They arent going for the Ballymore just to avoid AI.

It's about which race looks more competitive.
2 strong challengers in the Ballymore.

Without Appreciate It in the supreme.
                      0 challengers really
He'd be a shorter price in the supreme without Appreciate It. Than he is for the ballymore.

                      • Did Henry not confirm Bob to the ballymore in the most recent tour?

"We’re very happy with him. He worked really well the other day and seems really well. He was impressive at Naas and that form looks to give him a good chance in the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle. All of his form is on softer ground, but he’s a good-moving horse and I think he’d handle better ground."

I agree he would be shorter in the Supreme without AI than he is now in the Ballymore. But it doesnt strike me as Henry's MO. He will look at which trip is better for the horse and judge it on that. The intermediate trip looks perfect on anything like Good to soft or slightly softer. His breeding strongly suggest he will be a 3 miler in time.

Yeah he's going to the Ballymore.

The same ones who were doing geometry and astro physics on if Samcro was going for Supreme or Ballymore are the same ones harping on about this.

He's been napped by nearly every preview night for the Ballymore. Not that it means much that he's napped, more so the fact they're all mentioning him with the Ballymore.

To come to that conclusion I would assume you only looked at the sire, as his dam and grand-dam have mostly produced progeny that have recorded their highest RPR's at the intermediate trip, rather than 3m.Even his sire produced a Supreme winner last season, TBF.

That's not to say he won't get 3m in time (I think he will at some point), however he's enough of a turn of foot to suggest the Supreme wouldn't be an issue either.

Yes fair comments CoD. Can't argue with the intermediate trip on breeding either.

I meant that I could see them stepping him up in trip ito be a 3 miler in time rather than dropping back, so the Ballymore is a nice stepping stone en route.
