what's the general consensus?
I believe this is the strongest renewal of the kennel gate that I have ever seen, and imo is far and away the stronger and deeper race than the royal bond which ballyadam won.
People may or may not agree. But interested on thoughts before its ran.
The Royal Bond was better than the Future Champions that Abacadabras won at Christmas last year, which was dire.
Ballyadam won the RB well enough, and is a good enough Supreme fav for now.
The Kennel Gate, for me, boils down to Soaring Glory or - if they are all only 130+ horses - then the Hendo Bumper winner has a fair chance."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

landinabo lad soaring glory and even Kim baileys horse have some very smart form coming into this.
My drogo beat the mighty flinteur sacre etc.
Even the rag has won his last 2 and is 130+
He will have to be very special to win this off levels on hurdles debut.
Dusart recieved 4 and would have been no cert what so ever to have beaten soaring glory off levels. With the latter tenderly handled in the closing stages of there race. And that's without the others.
Strong race, whatever wins.... gets beaten by something Irish in March. Easy.

Haha. I didn't mean in that way.
Just obvs why he's not fav.
If he does win handily hes very useful But absolutely no foregone conclusion.
expect we will see what willie has between 26th dec and mid January. Asterion forlonge didn't run in his maiden hurdle until Jan last year....
I couldn't have ngolo beating soaring glory or landinado lad over 2m for example. ImoLast edited by Scooby91; 18 December 2020, 11:43 AM.https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/

On todays race I'm not sold on Soaring Glory I'm not 100% he'd have won lto when he fell. I've backed Shantou Express because of the case I made for For Pleasure last night. I hope whoever does win today looks really impressive so we have a stand out UK runner to put it up to Ballyadam and Ferny.
I don't agree with the former. I don't rate what ballyadam beat,
However very much Also Hoping for an impressive winner to shake up the supreme market.https://scooby91horseracingtips.com/
