  • That result couldn't have worked out any better for me.

Appreciate It confirming superiority, Ballyadam back to form, Blue Lord never nearer so should turn up with an E/W shout, Irascible ran a cracker too, and most surprisingly Hook Up ran an absolute blinder. If that is the best of the Supreme form in the future then Hook Up is back in the frame for the Mares Novice Hurdle as an E/W shout.

    • Much better from ballyadam today

He goes to Cheltenham with half a chance now

Appreciate it simply outstayed him and goes there a worthy fav

Yeh he really surprised me. Appreciate It looks to fully have his measure and I can't see a reversal of the form under any circumstances really, but I suppose backers will at least get a run for their money now which is good.

He looks all speed, be interesting to see if he gets any closer on spring ground (if it ever stops raining)

            • I'd imagine Appreciate It will be 2/1 on the day so wouldn't rush to back him now.

He's going to be vulnerable in the Supreme imo. If Hills do the 7 places offer I'll be backing a battalion to beat him

              • He's just absolutely rock solid isn't he.... (as plenty of us predicted)

I still feel he'd be even better over further....the Ballymore would be perfect however, given he has just beaten the strongest 2m field easily, they'll stick to the Supreme.

If something comes and picks him up they'll be a weapon.... he'll be staying on powerfully, looks uncomplicated.

Very easy to be able to 'cover' him with Metier if he does run in the Betfair Hurdle (with specials) and if not, there will be some stupid offers with extra places so could probably have anything you like as each way bets to nothing.

Like others, Ballyadam running so well is also a really nice back up, 40/1 for lots of people?

Townend will need to be brave id say and be prepared to not be up at the front if they go off like the clappers

If its not that strongly run you can see it being similar to klassical dreams win

It's a tough one. It looks such a shit race I can see 11/10 being far more likely if nothing emerges as a credible opponent

                    • Appreciate It is going to make some chaser. Form on undulating tracks is a slight concern but rightly fav for the Supreme

Same here, did the today/supreme double and also had Ballyadam backed from months ago.

Some firms do money back as cash all losers on the supreme or money back first 4 or 5 so that's how il likely cover metier

                            Who though?

Let's say Metier gets beaten in the Betfair Hurdle, or steps on a stone....

That field today is arguably as strong or stronger than the Supreme will be?

Third Time Lucki part of your team? - if that's the main danger.....?

                            • I think the Supreme is going to be a cracker. I've a feeling Ballyadam might get even closer on spring ground, and could even see him going on off the final bend but ultimately the hill will be the difference and you'd have to fancy AI to outstay him.

                              • Ballyadam would be the bigger win for me so glad he ran well. It wouldn't surprise me if he were to reverse the form with AI today, especially if the ground is better, so the 12s available is big IMO.
