We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

It does count and Saint Roi was in a similar situation having lost on debut, and he made it in with a UK mark of 137.
He lost by 23ls on debut + then won by 9ls getting 10Ibs. So, it's very possible he'd make it in if he won well enough.
Cheers
Yeah, I think my point was more that Saint Roi was probably more the exception than the rule. I guess there will be a bit of an Irish tax too. Probably not worth thinking about until after tomorrow anyway
Will he have a handicap mark after the run or will he have to run again? I can never remember if the run in France count as one of his three.
Regardless it's probably pretty unlikely he gets a mark in the mid 130s to get into the county right? He would likely have to win twice before March to get in.
It's pretty interesting that he kept being entered over 2m3f and being pulled out, and now he is being entered over 2m. Could mean absolutely nothing of course, but is it possible that the plan was to keep his mark favourable over a further distance, but now time is running out the handbrake will be taken off? 100% pocket talking there but I like to cling onto any hope
I think he was balloted out rather than being intentionally pulled out
Given it was Arcadian Sunrise's first hurdles run when Saint Roi spanked him 9L you would sort of wonder where the UK handicapper came up with 137. Presumably the Irish handicapper has given him 130 or so + the UK guys have added their tax, but i don't remember that far back, and i'm not sure how you can check old marks when they didn't run off them?
It might not be an easy race for Capodanno tomorrow with Elliot's runner Dunboyne running a reasonable debut behind Bob Olinger. At least Drop Him In has a mark of 107 to work off if he runs his race. He finished 10.5ls behind Mr Coldstone who i know has been mentioned once or twice on this forum. So it could be a more informative race that it looks.

Imo it would of been partially of the saint Roi's french run which was a good race.

The 2 behind had already ran and won in the uk by then (Flegmatik and quarts du rheu) The 2 infront are also at a high level in france.
Good points and i see now where they probably got the SR mark.- given the 2 you mention from Capodanno's race being here + not having raced it might be a bit more difficult? But still likely if he won well enough tomorrow he'd get a mark high enough to get in...

Time will tell, may be more difficult.
Just to note, all in love is with willie.

If Capodanno bolted up tomorrow I think he'd go Supreme wouldn't he ? JP just loves a runner or three in the opener and doesn't appear to have a fancied one in it this year.
Saint Roi bolted up for JP/Mullins in January last year, look how that ended...
They did have Elixir Dainay last year though, quite possible that they wanted to split the two up. Especially if Saint Roi was on a particularly lenient mark (which he clearly was)

Very true, forgot about him because he isn't with Mullins. Mullins also had Asterion Fallover so owner and trainer had 2 each! Can't think of anything JP has this year.
