Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    Danny on the mare.
Presume David on POP but not jocked as yet. Rode last time, and not a negative. David Mullins is mustard from the front. Still would be disappointed if he's good enough on what he's shown.
I think POP could end up a Pipe horse myself. I see there was a little bit of money for him in the County, but personally think he'll be better up in trip.

I am sure you are aware but just in case POP is 20s twar with hills. There a few scenarios where that may look quite generous after the race

      • I had made a case for him previously, and have just done so again in my diary, but Fire Attack is 125/1 for the Supreme with Bet365 which I think is ridiculous. He runs in the Moscow Flyer, and it may well be that he is a complete handicap job, given what tactics they decided to try LTO over Christmas in the PP Future Champions Novice Hurdle, in which Appreciate It won, it would not completely surprise me, but the Moscow Flyer isn't looking as deep as I think some may think it does on paper, so not only could Fire Attack be value for the Supreme, he could end up value for the Moscow Flyer (he's 14/1 for that), as well, IMO.

I just hope they go back to the hold up tactics, otherwise we may well know our fate early on.

Yeah I mentioned him the other day and took another chance on him too at such a huge price, for all the reasons you mentioned. Glad I'm not totally insane. Either that or we both are.

            Probably the latter

The horse has loads of ability

He almost accidentally won on debut when they definitely didn't want him to

Then they took no chances next time out

                • Gallyhill entered at Newbury on Wednesday. Shishkin won the same race last year. Don't know if he's more likely to be here or over futher, but he's definitely interesting. Henderson seems very empty when it comes to novice hurdlers this year. Could he be the one?

Plenty of stamina in his pedigree and that ptp looked a right slogg, fair play if he has the pace for 2m but i can already envisage folk calling out the getaway angle for the supreme.

Quite surprised they have him at 50s given a fuss was made of his price tag etc, about time Henrietta Knight had one that looked the part given the cash she was spending on behalf of folk

Been waiting for him to come out since his entry and no declaration over Xmas.

Thought he would need further than 2m as well. I wonder if he runs Wednesday he would turn him out quickly for the Sidney Banks as a step up?

Are there any other intermediate hurdles of grade in Feb?

Not 100% required but you would think after only 1 run they would want to try him against better opposition prior to the festival.

One on trials day at Chelt which be a really quick turnaround. After that it would be a step up to 3M in the River Don/Prestynobice hurdles if they wanted to up in grade I think.

                              • Not sure anyone has mentioned the winner of the Moscow Flyer yet ? Dreal Deal has improved out of all recognition this season and has won his last 5 on the bounce. His latest win was his most impressive where he won in a canter and he's now rated 141. Denis O'Regan has been booked for the ride and he looks to have strong credentials in what looks a pretty weak looking renewal to me. He'll have to win Sunday to book his place at Cheltenham but he looks to have a very good chance.
