I don't suppose anyone knows what they are doing with Malone Road? Hasn't run since coming 3rd to Ngolo in September.

Supreme Novices Hurdle 2021

Me and a friend were discussing a horse, currently still 50/1 (generally 33's though) for the Supreme, that has already beaten a horse that sits at 20/1 (as low as 12's) for this race.
That horse is For Pleasure (rated 145), for trainer Alex Hales. Now, obviously the trainer does not have that sexy appeal that usually comes with finding the Supreme 1-2-3, but this is no ordinary year either. There are a lot of well fancied horses already likely out of the festival.
For Pleasure beat Third Time Lucki (the 20/1 shot as above) in the Supreme Trial at Cheltenham in November, yet finds himself some 30pts bigger than that one. The form has also been franked with Third Time Lucki dotting up in the class 2 novices hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day. For Pleasure has also beat Shantou Express by 5 lengths giving him 10lbs that day, earlier in the season, that one in turn was 18 or so lengths behind My Drogo (20/1 for the Supreme, but generally 14-16/1), in the Kennel Gate, so I wouldn't suspect there would be a whole heap between the pair, given the weight difference, and on overall form lines.
For Pleasure has been given a break, after such a long season already, but could well be seen in the Champion Hurdle trial or the Sky Bet Supreme Trial Rossington Main Novices' Hurdle, both on the same day at Haydock, failing that then the Betfair Hurdle is the likely route, where he'd get 4lbs from Metier (should he turn up too), who is current 2nd favourite for the Supreme.
For Pleasure is a bit of a head case, he doesn't like to hang about, but he's also shown a willingness to knuckle down at the business end of a race too, and certainly wasn't for catching when beating Third Time Lucki at Cheltenham back in November.
His overall profile doesn't view as a Supreme Novice Hurdle chance, and there is the very likelihood that he would be caught by one or two up the hill, if not before, but he's a solid horse, who, if wins next time out (I'll back him wherever he ends up I think), will be no 50/1 shot.
I managed to grab some exchange prices averaging 188's, for small stakes too.

Now that Appreciate It has come out and looks the standout I don't think he'd be allowed the soft lead he got at Cheltenham lto. However at 50-1 and bigger on the exchanges I wouldn't put anyone off him. Especially as the Supreme looks weaker than usual.

Can't fault you nabbing 3 digits about any horse in this years supreme tbf but he did steal a very easy lead at the start and after that Skektons horse actually ran 3L quicker throughout. I'd be disappointed if he couldn't beat him should they meet again but I'm not going to knock a 50s shot.

He's got no chance.

I'm slightly cooling on appreciate it for this tbh
I was gutted when he bolted up and only having him backed for the ballymore
But with ballyadam running no race what has he really beaten
Irascible is very inexperienced and keskonrisk looks like he needs further and his trainer is in awful form
Don't see either of those as being close to grade 1 horses right at this stage of their careers
Theres just that lingering thought in my mind that he's a 3 mile ptp and 2m4f bumper winner and that he will be better suited by the ballymore
Wouldnt surprise me at all if he got picked up by a faster horse just like in the bumper in the last furlong
Its just figuring out what to take him on with that I cant get my head around
