  • Now we're getting so many preview nights there's a fair few that are not recorded or even reported. Seemed to have reached a crescendo this year. Almost getting to parody levels now, everybody getting involved. Total overkill.

        • This race could cut up pretty badly. Spanish Harlem very weak on the machine. From the top of the betting on Oddschecker Langer Dan, Three Card Brag and Favori de Champdou all unlikely.

Time to top op on Cool Survivor while 8/1 is still there, I reckon .

Favori definitely heads to the Potato race and the Langer Dan plan changed when Lorcan Williams got banned, they lost a decent conditional so may as well send the horse to the Coral Cup off same mark but get Harry on his back.
It's hurt me, but even I can accept it makes sense...

I can see the angle with having Harry on his back, but is that really a big positive

I think the Martin Pipe looks the significantly weaker race myself. Big quandary for them... especially if Spanish Harlem is out. be surprised if they couldn't snare a decent name for this horse who would surely start fav

It's probably a bit outlandish to say, because it's technically meant to be a competitive handicap, but I think Gordon will have this race by the balls this year.

Always a chance something is lurking in there that turns out to be very good, we just won't know until about 5.40pm next Friday !
Spanish Harlem is an odd one, there was talk a few weeks ago about him not going to Cheltenham, then various people said he was a big runner and plans had changed, then he got talked up at previews, now it seem he's out.
Almost as if it was done by design...

Not seen anyone make a case for this horse on here...

Could be wrong, will do a search actually.... bear with....

                        Few mentions, DenmanSacre and charlie

                        • I think West to the Bridge at 25/1 is a big price for this. Backed and watched him at Uttoxeter on his last but one run and thought he shaped excellent and was unfortunate to be turned over by the bottom weighted horse whose name escapes me. Backed him last week and he followed up with a win.

The Cheltenham race has come at the right time for him and hopefully he runs. I am definitely on EW at 25's.

….if you think 25-1 is big, he’s 66-1 NRNB with PP & BFSB

At 66/1 he is definitely worth 2:50 EW.
