I did the same and took the 33s last night after watching Dave's video, he made a very good case

        • Irascible interesting one running today for Henry......entered in all 3 hurdles, but guessing here, or Coral maybe most likely?

Might be a decent NRNB shout

Has missed several engagements this season. Clearly fragile and difficult to train.

            • Hiaou out to 25/1 nrnbog with 365.

Not ideal going on the back of a fall.

Odd looking fall too! Not sure what happened.

I had glanced at him, but watched his win back, and felt the second threw it away.

Today he looked outpaced on heavy ground.

Be surprised if he ran, and if he did, he was good enough.

The BHA have given Langer Dan fans a gift there. Strange to drop him as the pre race quotes informed everyone he wouldn’t be ‘trying’ at Taunton. Maybe this is to balance up their underestimate of Gaelic Warrior

                    • ….Langer Dan into a best price 7-1 NRNB. The favourites for some of these big field handicaps are already looking short.

He had a hold up in the autumn hence why he hasn't run yet, and we're looking to go back to Cheltenham for the Martin Pipe again. When you say you bumped into one like Galopin Des Champs, I think that was the perfect definition of it! We're hoping to blow the cobwebs away before he goes for another bid at Cheltenham, it will be straight to there after this.

Handicapper really being generous dropping him 3lbs when it was public knowledge he was just on a day out.

Yes its noticeable this year isn't it. Trying to close the gap against the Irish runners. Think that's a bit of a joke tbh.

Sire du Berlais had a similar ride at Warwick in his qualifier and got 2lb taken off, I don’t think it’s a pro UK/anti Irish agenda…

He did not really have a choice but to drop Sire Du Berlais because Third Wind and Alaphilippe ( UK trained) would have to be similarly taxed.

That is quite outrageous! This seasons approach to handicapping so surreal….I await these Irish marks with bated breath…
