Yeh it went sharpish mate. I took the price straight away, by time I'd come back on here to post the price it had gone when I flicked back to Skybet.

        • Most cut LD instantly after that jig jog round at the back, Skybet pushed him out - would love to know what their odds compilers eat for breakfast

          • Does the handicapper drop him a few lb's though? haha

Based on his approach this season who knows!! We know what has gone off but maybe he will - if he does that’ll be mental

Surely he has to since he finished last

Not a chance. After the subsequent exploits of GDC (winning a G1 hurdle) the handicapper is probably desperate for an excuse to raise him.

I don't think Skelton fooled anyone with that performance; just hoping people turn a blind eye. Take a look at Lorcan Williams looking as if he is going to use the whip between the last two; it moved about six inches and stopped two feet from the horse; he needs to work on that for the next time he isn't trying

                  • Im surprised they haven't been hauled up in front of the stewards after that spectacle.

If he's not pulled in front of the stewards for a non trier the handicapper has no choice but to drop him a couple of lbs logically

But this is racing so logic doesn't apply

….perhaps that will happen with significant improvement next month.

Totally agree. It is a farce.

If the handicapper drops his mark after that, then his judgement also needs to be called into question.

Wouldn’t exactly say perfection. He wasn’t given a hard ride but did push it along for a bit and there was very little response. Lets not forgot he’s had his problems and only has 3 weeks to get him fully fit. I’m on board with him too but to say I’m not concerned at all would be a wonder spoof

That was one of the worst air shots I've ever seen, Jim Crowley is a master of it, Lorcan needs a little practice....
