Think saint felicien will be re-assessed for any future entries though won’t he as GB handicapper will only have assessed up to sat and he ran on sun… similar to Escaria ten last year… can’t see him being put up much if at all for Sunday tho
Mentioned in my diary but I’ve backed Henn See for this at 16/1 NRNB.
He’s had 3 runs now, one on the flat in France as well as a hurdle run where he finished second. Sent to WPM over the summer he won on hurdles debut at Limerick on heavy over 2m. He’s entered in both races at the DRF so will be interesting to see what race he goes for, ideally the 2m race finishing 5th or something similar running on. Could be a very similar profile to Galopin Des Champs last year and one under the radar possibly.
No Henn See in the 5 day entries for DRF. Have to hope he gets a run elsewhere in the next couple of weeks!
I've seen numerous cases made for this race and been intrigued by several, but do we not just apply simple logic and back Langer Dan who, without GDC, won this race 10l last year ?

It's not the worse plan but he'll be having a very different prep this season. Also, has his layoff affected his ability at all?
However, even if he does turn up in rude health, no doubt Willie or Gordon will have something that will prevent him winning again.

He’s up 10lb fron last year but GDC had to work to beat him and that one looks like he’s the next Arkle.
I still think Langer Dan has plenty in hand and there would need to be a similarly talented horse to GDC for Skelton’s not to take this.
I’m at a preview evening with Skelton on 9th March so will be grilling him ‘back stage’…
That looked like a Martin Pipe run to me from State man, plenty of horse at the end of the race and didn’t beat too much behind for a reasonable mark.
It's hard to know whether he had plenty left at the end due to having an abundance of stamina (needed for the Pipe) or whether it was just because he beat a load of muck.

Surely a fair chance Hollow Games will be low enough to get in here now.
I've taken the 14's ante post with Unibet, which I'm happy to risk.
Probably would sneak in. 140 currently in Ireland and may not see a rise for today. Hasn't really been hiding his ability though so may be better handicapped horses.
