It's a 2 year break. Appreciate It didn't run to form after a year so Five O'Clock has a massive task.

Comparing a champion hurdle contender to a horse going for a handicap race is abit of a difference, I just find it strange there pitching the horse in on a lower mark in a similar race and maybe they did not want to risk running the horse to ruin its mark?

He’s been a tough horse to train and they’ve abandoned a novice chase campaign two years in a row now. I’m not saying he can’t win but this certainly hasn’t been the objective, more an after thought.

Huge run by Bay of Freedom for those on at 50s!

I got sent a tip through for Banbridge of a guy from work I'm willing to listen to so came out up but I wouldn't have picked him out in a month of Sundays

Didn't back Langer Dan but that's some awful luck for those who were on. Half the pub I watched it in seemed to have him and it was silent when it was brought down.

Adamantly Chosen was disappointing. Travelled wide throughout and didn't pick up. Wouldn't have picked the winner if I had 10 chances in the race.

Was waiting on Langer Dan for €15k. Had he won Shiskin would have let me down for €118k.

Not a bad festival but could have been the best ever.

Met Skelton at Stratford the day before the festival started and he couldn't take the smile off his face when we were talking to him about Langer and the pounds the handicapper had taken off him, shame he didn't get the chance to show whether that was a lenient mark or not
