Disappointing… people are hoping state man will get a mark as he fell 2 out. So by that reasoning same should apply to haiou who he brought down when he went. But I’d have rather see him get a run in this key race. Not sure I’d fancy the goffer to be the one.

Edit: Iv gone ahead with it, 3 pts on the special at 16s.
Will put 1.5 pts on at 2/1 to be placed.

If I put 4.5pts on him at the best current nrnb price 8/1 it returns 40.5pts

4.5pts doing it this way returns 51pts

So basically getting just over 10/1. But with injury risk. But also maybe he finishes a 30 length 2nd and I win the place bet and he doesn't go up in weight. That's the dream scenario

Hahaha I would just never land that, he'd be 4th by a pube.

Managed to just get 3/1 on LD be placed today.
So 1pt on that, 3 on the special. Either he's placed and it's down the shit pan but costs nothing. Or he doesn't place and iv got just under 12/1. Pretty happy with that he's one of the last horses on my list of ones I wanted to back.

Already into 12s from 20s antepost and 10s from 14s NRNB. Suprised they pushed the odds out when they were the ones doing the special about a horse not placing. Someone's messed up there.
