........................so far. But he may have had some time on his hands than usual this summer!

Do think eclair de beaufeu will be there again this year, we all know this horses record at hq, unseated at the last 3yrs ago, 2nd in the grand annual bumping into chosen mate, was just making his run when short of room in last years county, similar mark going into this years fest...20s and 25s in places seems quite generous for horse who'll be thereabouts at the death...im on him in the any race market anyway as i thought there was a chance he'd go GA again, but another entry over hurdles now seems certain he'll be coming hete imo.

Runs on Sunday, 33/1 with Jack on board.

He’s a solid place chance but can’t see him winning a county against these lightly raced / less exposed novices personally

Maybe your right, but i honestly thought he would have won it last year bar being blocked at the death...beating several unexposed horses imo

Dennis O’Regan just blown Top Bandit to the world on FFP - typical! Can see him being a preview night talking horse - let’s go in again at 16s NRNB

I’m in agreement he would have won last year without the interference. I’ve backed him for the last 3 festivals, so am bound to find myself backing him again!

Listening to the pod now - do you know what time he talks about Top Bandit?

Echo's fans you can't be too pleased with her proximity today as surely gets rated 3lbs higher minimum after that run plus will get 3/4 added off Uk so be looking at a mark around 150 if coming over you'd expect now.

Might as well keep her to the Champion Hurdle then. Thought she was getting up to Zanahiyr before the camera went close in on Honeysuckle. Still think she needs a proper run race where she's covered up. The tongue tie worked. Would love to see a good number of runners in the Champion Hurdle but suspect that is too much too much to ask for.

Anything 150 or lower gives her a chance still

Yeah a much smaller chance than if she'd be campaigned for a handicap With how he's started her off this season and then with today's showing I'd be surprised if she where to line in in this now tbf.

                          • They'll definitely take their chance in the Champion with Echoes after today. Much better run. She could place which is brilliant for black type.

1st & 2nd in the big 2m hcap hurdle at the DRF today, didn’t need Top Bandit! It’s all about what marks some of these Irish novices get vs their UK counterparts for me this year. But as of now, I’m more than happy that Top Bandit will be there or thereabouts in this…esp as we know he got 139 when fishing.

Of the UK novices, I’m pretty sure they’ll dominate the finish of the Betfair Hurdle next week so it’ll be intriguing to see the revised marks after that. Shallwehaveonemore would interest me a lot off a rapid gallop & low mark…

                              • Could Party Central come here? She must go up in the handicap for winning today plus the UK tax. She could go off a really nice mark for this. Thoughts?
