      • Overreach isn't ideal, wasn't that what Facile Vega done? Had 7-10 days off work for?

Also, my brain can't cope with this "It’s 50-50 from the point of view that we’ll only go there if he’s 100 per cent."

Depends where the overreach is & how deep it is,if it's taken the skin off the bulb (Heel) then it'll be sore to the touch so then it'd be very much a case of touch & go about running,if not deep then as long as no infection he should be fine, usually treated with norodine which they can run on so no problem with needing days off the meds before running so he would test clear for any antibiotics.

Pity it wasn't a graze or nick, then they could have said something about cutting the mustard.

Hopefully for FV lovers like myself, it's nowhere near as serious as FVs given CM ran infinitely better for having picked up an injury in the race. I've got it in my head that FV needed antibiotics for his though - I've no idea whether I've made that up in fairy land or it actually happened though

                  • Beginning to warm to glory and fortune in this at a big price, laceys aborted his chase career this season as he doesnt want to waste a season with him, last years betfair hurdle winner off 1lb lower than now, got dropped 4lbs for his first hurdle race back last month. Back form reads well, got within 2ls of epante in last years xmas hurdle giving her weight, won the betfair beating i like to move it and first street, who went on to run state man close in the pipe off the same mark. 40s is an oustanding price and tom lacey mentioned cheltenham is in their thoughts, prefers galloping tracks.

Definitely on my list with one other.

Imagine would be if he came here. He looks perfect for the race. Never mind.

                            • Couldn't have filey bay or aucunrisque

The ground was very quick at Newbury betfair hurdle day and they both ran huge races

I'd be thinking that will have left a mark on them
