You couldn't get me to back it with stolen money if they put charron on again after the ride he gave him in the stayers

      • Re Masaccio.......more of a worry would be the bout of coughing that spread through the yard last week. King will pretty much shut the yard down and have very few runners for the time being.

Edwardstown was one that was affected and a line put through his Game Spirit run. They may look to run him in the Grand Annual or try him over 2 1/2 at Aintree.

Kings yard is made up of about a dozen separate (isolated) stables housing 10-12 horses in each, so if there is/was an infection they would have been able to contain it to small numbers...

Fingers crossed they'll all be firing come Festival week.

So I’ve then been hoping Cheltenham wasn’t in their plans , as that was the vibes.
Just seen he’s declared for Saturday so probably is unlikely for Cheltenham although you never know
Yeah the declaration for Saturday throws a spanner in the world but connection today have said he might be pulled out Saturday (like last week) so fingers crossed.

                  • Lowry's Bar.....

Speaking at a Jockey Club media briefing, joint-trainer Johnson White said: "The original plan was to run in the Reynoldstown last Saturday, but very frustratingly he pulled out lame the day before with a bit of bruising, and this has been the plan since. I'm very much hoping the forecast is right with a lot of rain on Friday, but we can see how things pan out during the day and the intention is to run. We wouldn't want to run him on quicker ground and if so he'd go straight to the Ultima.
"These big handicaps are very difficult to win and it's certainly more open without Iroko, but carrying top weight would indicate we're the best horse in the race. Hopefully that's the case."

                    • I've cashed out Masiccio for the Ultima for a tony profit and re-backed NRNB at 10/1

One of the situations where I'd be annoyed if he didn't run and ran somewhere else having seen the quote and not acted

But also being furious if he then did run and I wasn't on

I will probably end up backing NRNB in the JR but I think I fancy 15 already

I've backed him NRNB for the Ryanair FFS

Had a bit of trouble with the feed last night, got the Naiad, but wasn't aware of the "next best". Thanks for posting it

So I'm not sure what Lobos is on about.

Just a matter of interest, I'm taking these over from Bryan immediately after the Festival. They'll still run under the name Gaultstats, but under the Spectre name.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
