He's one that just has to be on side.
Best jockey. - And If you watch him last year I'm convinced the jockey thinks he went too soon, so will be holding this year if still in contention coming to the second last.
    Well handicapped.
    etc etc.
He's without doubt one you will watch win and say why the fuck did I not back that (if you don't)
And I'll feel bad as I've got 100-1 and 28-1 about him.
Agree with this - think he has a very good chance. Surprised there is not more love for this horse

Don't like Tea Clipper, all his wins are on Good ground, he's 2lb higher than when beaten 11L last year.... apart from a hurdle win in 2019 at Huntington over 2m which was on Good-to-soft.

          What am I missing?

No, I haven't backed him since 80/1 each way in the Albert Bartlett

Oscar Elite in pole position though at the moment......but....

Fanion D'estruval is well handicapped on these two runs. Not actually watched them back yet..... but if it's soft ground, 5lb getting claimed....
            • 3rd v Into Overdrive (1st); carries 9lbs less than when behind by 9.00l on 26/12/2022 Wth 24GS
            • 7th v Oscar Elite (10th); carries 5lbs less than when ahead by 14.00l on 26/11/2022 Nbu 26Gd

Nah don't like Fanion D'estruval anymore

              • Does anyone know anything about Iceo Madrik? He's been running in graded races in France and wears a tongue strap and cheek pieces for the first time on Tuesday. Could be an each way play at 50/1?

He's worn both in france many times, not always together though,he wants it soft, softer the better in fact, likes to get on with it & jumps for fun,his stamina will be tested here for sure also he'd have a touch more weight than he is used to carrying in France, if he takes to our fences he'll be involved, it's just from the 2nd last he might struggle as he'd be used to very flat tracks, he has been running at the premier courses rather than provincial ones & does have a 3rd at G1 level from may last season as a 4yo so those are positives.
At 50/1 as I said if he takes to our fences he'll run well.

Scooby wasn't keen so it stopped me delving too much.

Not tried the trip yet, not well handicapped was the jist.

                    • Fastorslow is a very interesting runner. Lost his Maiden tag over fences in France. Beaten on the nod in the Coral Cup last year. Ran in two Grade 1 chases this season. Ran ok behind GC fav in Durkan beaten 20 lengths then popped around over inadequate 2 miles as his prep. Been heavily backed this week. Could he be the Graded horse lurking in a handicap?

                              Nassalam
Fantastikas (can’t believe how quickly he’s tumbled from 40-1)
The Wolf (might get tailed off, but if he’s anywhere near turning for home he could run through the lot)

The three I'd marked down for the places were Nassalam, Fantastikas and Happygolucky. Never had the winner of this race but have myself thinking I've got the forecast nailed this year
