Of all the entries and likely runners, what is the feel
for the likely mark of the top weight? Trying to work out the likely weight to be carried by Lord Accord off 137. Presumably a feather weight. Equally, presumably there is a chance that he doesn’t make the cut?

…..Frodon carried 11st 12lb under top weight last year off 164.

Given the trainer has been adamant of race, tempted with the 20s antepost rather than NRNB but given the rating that seems risky.

I think a few were running out of the handicap. Oscar Elite carrying 4lbs more than his mark, Gericault Roque carrying 5lbs more than his mark

Gone for the 20s antepost (4 places) as it seems like he runs and it adds 40% to the potential return vs NRNB (albeit I also lose a place). Would have probably swayed towards NRNB with 365 at 16s but I’ve lost that account unfortunately.

Lord Accord seems quite ground dependent, probably why the big variable on NRNB prices (Bet 365 28's compared to 16's).

Very surprised at that. In a good way. I was very impressed with the Reynoldstown performance. He ticks all the trends highlighted by Eggs and the famous RPR 3miles+ stat.

I like him, but what did you think of his jumping mate? Seemed to reach for a couple LTO, a bit guessy, but you'd think OE has had plenty of starts now not to be doing such, and instead correcting himself, at least in my opinion.

but he’s my number one pick for this race.

Yeah, I had him covered last season, although I'm not as convinced as you that he would have won, personally.

Can see the appeal though, I like returning horses to the race. I'm not on yet, and given his previous jumping issues I'm not sure I want to be involved at 12/1, but would happily take the 28's off you
