I'm on both of those. Interested to know why you don't see Death Duty winning. What puts you off him in particular?

So it ran in the plate back in 2020 and it was on a mark of 151 with a 7lb claimer which looked like abit of a weak race I thought, and it only finished 10th. I think the plate this year looks weak again and I personally thought the horse had more chance in the plate than the Ultima, I think this race looks harder to win for the horse. Only won 1 race in the past 4 years and I just think mark 144 for a race like this is slightly going to be difficult. I think its got a great place chance but winning I wouldn't be so sure. I'd give it a chance still but at 6/1 and the race it ran back in 2020 round Cheltenham I just wouldn't be that confident. Our power is unexposed too round 3m and was running on at Kempton and actually ran stormer even when it made 2 mistakes and a really bad one at the end and still was running on.

I've now decided to come round Our power, the more I look at this race the more I think from its last run it will suit Our power I think and a mark of 136 for this is perfect for it. Death duty I'm not sure myself why its as low as it is in the betting, I just think Death duty should be going to another race and not this one. Mark 144 ain't bad but for this race I just don't see the horse winning myself. But Our power at 16/1 I'm starting to come round to it.

I mean Our power has only been to Cheltenham over hurdles and wasn't that bad but wasn't great either but was in some tough hurdle races, since going over fences the horse looks like a completely different opposition going over 3m over fences. As I've said the horse is unexposed over the distance and 3m round Kempton and the way it ran I thought it ran a blinder, it will also an even better chance at the weights for this compared to races its had to race in the past when coming here.

Death Duty has 2 course runs, in 2017 and 2020..... I'm not sure I'd hang my hat on the relevance of a run 5 years ago myself as a particularly relevant reason to confidently rule one out...

Our Power, makes more sense. 4 attempts so far.

I'm borderline on cashing him out to be fair, will see how it goes. Think Sam Thomas might be worth following though and willing to risk him potentially.

Its funny I would of done a bet on Death Duty for the plate, I'm now doing Spiritofthegames for the plate who I thought was going to be better suited for the Ultima. But Death duty I just think its going for the wrong race, Our power I've only just come round to the idea of and now done a bet on at 16/1. Only done two for this which is Kiltealy Briggs which I done a long time back now and Our Power and proabably now the only 2 I'll be doing for this.

I could see fantastikas running well. Think they’re swaying this way now after previously saying he’d go for the 4miler. His horses are flying now just at the right time. 4 winners from his last 7 runners and he knows how to ready them for Cheltenham. Can see guardyourdreams and gowel road running well also whichever way he splits them between the coral and MP

Our Power must have a decent chance. Ticks a lot of boxes. I was very impressed with his run in behind Cap Du Nord. Thankfully it went unnoticed by the media.

He might be due one as he hasn't had a winner since Blacklion 2016.

I’m all over Fantastikas too - my only NRNB single on this aside Ger Roque who won’t get in here. Really like his profile - they’ve mentioned Scottish National but plenty have ran well in this before going onto that before so hoping they rock up here. I loved the idea of DD in the Kim Muir with RJ taking 7lb off but no entry & despite attractive rating just not as appealing here….can’t put my finger in exactly why but just doesn’t fit the profile I’d normally expect
