Gutting but it’s par for the course with ante post betting. Weirdly it’s not so much the financial side of things I’m must gutted about. It’s more that we were all in it together and was all meeting up on the Tuesday to cheer the ‘naiad’ horse on. Genuinely hope there’s a 2nd ‘naiad’ to get behind now to still make it happen.

I don't know what to say guys. Gutted doesn't even come close to how I'm feeling right now. I'm completely numb.

The decision not to enter him is just bizarre. In all my years of antepost punting it's one of the strangest decisions I've seen.

All I can hope is that you accept my sincerest apologies.

As a lurker currently, spectre you have nothing to apologise for, you put up a very well thought out compelling case for this horse with sound reasoning which once laid out everyone could make their own decision on.
I suspect you've given more people good steers on here than they could thank you for so just keep doing exactly what you've always done.

Absolutely nothing to apologise for Spectre. It’s all part of the ride. Watching that live video was great viewing for me and has been a highlight of the build up. Watching the price drop was exciting in itself. Stuff like this happens. Let’s just get stuck into him on Saturday and see what happens.

As has been said I’d personally be interested in a Doing a Naiad the sequel so we can all cheer on something together.

365 just put up the handicaps again after taking them down and Galahad Quest and Remastered are both still in their markets………. Pretty disgusting really if they are taking bets on horses who can’t possibly win!

I think we need to blame the lack of prize money at Cheltenham, realistically all the races at the meeting should be a minimum of 100k to the winner. If it is the world championships of jumps racing then the money should reflect this. 3 horses I backed for the Ultima all non runners there can only be two explanations, firstly the prize money is better elsewhere for the level of competition or I know nothing about antepost , I'll leave the verdict to the readers.
