The decision not to enter him is just bizarre. In all my years of antepost punting it's one of the strangest decisions I've seen.

All I can hope is that you accept my sincerest apologies.
The excitement this has generated far outweighs the disappointment mate and we still hopefully have Saturday to look forward too… looking forward to your replacement selection once you’ve had chance to peruse the entries

Seems fairly exposed over that trip to me, and doesn't interest me an awful lot. I was with Spectre that the step up to 3m would bring out the required improvement for the Ultima. It was the right call by Spectre, IMO, and the 3m entry at Kempton may well show that too.

Bloody hell mate nothing to apologise for!

          • No need to apologise Spectre. The logic was spot on, the case was compelling, but it's antepost betting. We win some and we lose some. If anyone takes note of just a small amount of the insight you provide on this forum they will be making money anyway. Onwards and upwards

….if it has an entry, I think we know what that could be.

Don’t be daft - you don’t have to apologise at all… it’s AntePost punting & these are the risks with it. We’ll have to find another horse for the whole Forum to cheer home collectively on the Tues

                  • I echo everyone else's sentiments. This is no different to the horse being entered, running on Saturday, and getting injured in the process. Its the risk we take and all part and parcel of the run up to the best week of the year. Please don't take this to heart mate. I can absolutely guarantee that next year's naiad, or perhaps even this year's second Naiad, will receive just as much support from this forum!

                      • Spectre I had a good win on Impervious at Down Royal after you highlighted your interest in her to everyone in the run up to that meeting back in October. I'm sure others did likewise.

You owe us f#@* all, thanks for the tips and insight and look forward to more

I know everyone has already said it, but you have absolutely nothing to apologise for. You made a great case and we all know the risks of antepost betting.

                            • Anyone got any opinions as to why the Plate and not here?
I always like to respect trainers decisions in these situations, but it does seem to be a popular opinion on here that the trainer is wrong?
Is he worth a go in the plate?
