Seems fairly exposed over that trip to me, and doesn't interest me an awful lot. I was with Spectre that the step up to 3m would bring out the required improvement for the Ultima. It was the right call by Spectre, IMO, and the 3m entry at Kempton may well show that too.

I echo everyone else's sentiments. This is no different to the horse being entered, running on Saturday, and getting injured in the process. Its the risk we take and all part and parcel of the run up to the best week of the year. Please don't take this to heart mate. I can absolutely guarantee that next year's naiad, or perhaps even this year's second Naiad, will receive just as much support from this forum!

I always like to respect trainers decisions in these situations, but it does seem to be a popular opinion on here that the trainer is wrong?
