Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

First post and very excited to be part of the forum and I hope I can contribute in a positive way.
I've looked and looked at this race trying to find value as with the history of winners in the past 10 years it might be the best ploy.
SOLAR DRIVE at 40/1 jumps out at me if you take a line through the form of Slurricane.
In Oct he was 2nd to Action Plan (gave 6lbs and had earlier beaten him off levels) Slurricane was 3 1/4L back in 3rd. SD gave him 13lbs.
NTO Slurricane was 2nd to Beyond your Dreams only beaten 3/4L off levels.
Slurricane won lto beating Out For A Stroll 1 1/4L (got 4lbs) and Total Look was a further 3/4L back in 3rd (gave 15lbs).
I know certain horses are running looking to protect marks but given the evidence the price has tempted me.

    Nice case

Will put on the shortlist .... one for extra places perhaps? Price likely to hold given connections!

Yeah I think it'll be his first ever runner at the festival and yes he'll probably be bigger on the day.
I'll be going in again with the extra places too but just wanted to have him onside

      • Heres my poke for whats it worth
Bust a move, Mick Easterby. High of 82 on the flat, won first time out beating Hasaam on the bridle, Bust a moves hurdling was noticeable very good, Hasaam (high of 93 flat) went on to frank the form winning at Wetherby.
2nd time out bust a move pulled the arms out of the jockey for the first half of the race and then was outsprinted over the last 2 furlongs by a couple of nice sorts in a very slowly run race. again his jumpung was very good even at speed, the winner Melon had previously ran against nietzsche has in a grade 2 and the other horse to beat BAM that day ,Narragansett franked the form by winning next time out too. Bustamove then won at newcastle in a faster run race, settled much better ,jumped again well and won going away cosily with some nice 130 horses in behind. This race has been the plan from the start, the yard has tasted victory at the festival before with a juvenile, albeit a long time ago .
This is the fred winter and is quite a unique handicap imo were form and reasoning is slightly skewed from the norm...anyway this is my poke, theres holes in it for sure but its where iv landed.

        • No Naturally NImble, Opec, Bust A Move or Belfrina at the 6 day confirmation stage.

Gutted NN not going, although I understand it connections were not happy with his mark.

Heard on a preview that Opec will be running in the Triumph so EID doesn’t have to make all his own running

                  • Hot Fuss needs one to come out, Out For A Stroll needs 3 to come out, Ephesus needs 4 to come out.

On that basis they should all get in. Aren't they having 2 substitutes for the Handicaps this year ??

                        Why?

How many do you think come out?

6 days away, if they were removing horses it would have been at this point for most trainers.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out now.

                          • I wouldn't bank on it. Hot Fuss is 23 with 22 max field and I'm slightly nervous.

You'll be fine Arch. He'll be well in there.

                              • Its tricky to know if any will come out. If 1 comes out, that puts Hot Fuss in, which leaves the Gredleys to decide if they want Liam Swagger or Lavender Hill Mob to run and if either of those aren't declared, JP can decide to take one out if he wants Out For A Stroll to get in.

A couple are in the juvenile handicap hurdle at Sandown on Saturday. If they win that will they get the 5 pounds penalty and move up the list to a mark accounting for the penalty?
