Haha none really for me... but just highlighting the big price difference.

    • Looking at WM and his Appreciate It direct route to the Champion Hurdle looks like he is confident Gaelic Warrior can do the same,

Did anyone see the grin on RW's face when Lydia ask if he could tell us anything regarding GW and he smiled that he is Dark...Dark bay

I actually can’t wait to see how far he wins by and what price he ends up going after the preview circuits and the casual punters realise how well in he is.

Not sure I’ve ever known you to be so bullish about one MoM, and I can’t disagree with you.
          Wish you well…

            • Funnily enough I’ve just finished watching it - was the Road to Cheltenham special from Punchestown after day one of the DRF. Ruby could barely keep the smirk off his face…

The can't run GW as need to protect its hcap

Sound like one that's either going to win by half the track, or flop

Maybe this is a long shot race for biggest distance?

Interesting to hear Ruby mention Ciel de Neige. If you look at his French form, Gaelic Warrior's stacks up much better than his did - and GW given 3 lbs lower than CdN.

Ciel de Neige placed in the Fred Winter that year and no better man than WPM for getting them ready for March...

                        • Bee Ex One who beat Sea Sessions and Calvados before Christmas is now with Nicholls and comes here according to Derham tonight. Gave a stone and a beating to Sea Sessions who's now 121, so not too shabby, but perhaps might actually struggle to get in assuming he goes up to 125/126 over here.

Actually spoke to a chap I know who works for HRI about him today - this was their view...

"I just heard back from the National Hunt Handicapper in Ireland and he said that Bell Ex One would receive a rating of not less than 135 if still trained in Ireland."

That’s poured a bucket of cold water on a horse I was looking forward to!

                              Thanks for posting that though

I was horrendously bullish many years ago on Burning Ambition (for the poxy foxhunters too) on here when he got backed into 9/4 and traded odds on in running before fading up the hill. Gutting that was.

But yes I would say Gaelic Warrior is just in my opinion an absolute good thing if getting there safe and sound. He's so far well in its borderline ridiculous. It's never a race that takes a huge heap of winning but we're looking at a graded horse here who is going to be the best horse in the race AND the most well-handicapped horse surely of the entire week.
