  • I'm not buying the talk that Tekao hasn't shown any battle. His 3rd run he pulled for most of the race and still found more to win in a duel. His DRF run he was travelling all over the winner until Walsh shit himself knowing his was running for a mark. UK tax is going to be interesting with him on an Irish of 128. He'll be near enough top weight.

Anyone know if Jazzy Matty has a mark? isn't on the Irish site.

This is the correct thread Eggs

Saxon Warrior has recycled all handicap threads from last year to be used this year with updated stats etc, the handicap threads I set up last night have now been closed for comment...

            • Any news on Risk Belle after her fall yesterday?

Think she's got a massive chance here if fit and well.

              • See that Nusret has been given a very generous 130 mark in the UK.

Plan was not to go L/H so was bypassing the festival Paul, unless plans have changed?

I'd forgotten that - thanks. Just curious as to why he's entered at Newbury - it seems like an entry to find a mark and there really aren't any races R/H for him in the UK

Has a liking for better ground so he would have options at Sandown's finale meeting though it seems an odd entry anyway, 3m at Newbury for a 4yo ?
Looks like mark fishing of the highest order....

                      • Jazzy Matty perhaps the obvious candidate for the Boodles from Saturday's race at Naas, but both Metamorpheus and Sir Allen looked useful in their last runs. Metamorpheus has been mentioned by the trainer for this race, has anyone heard anything about Sir Allen targeting it too?

Slattery said it all depends on his handicap mark wether its the triumph or boodles.

….3 out of the last 4 winners of this have gone on to win Boodles.

Hills offer 50-1 for Jazzy, Sir Allen, Metamorpheus & Byker. Almuhit is 150-1.

Gavin Lynch just picked up on this. I'd say the majority of racing media is lurking around here. Good Morning Gavin, btw.

'According to Timeform and Wikipedia, the Boodles is a novice handicap for 4 year olds. That means Risk Belle is not eligible for the Boodles as she won a hurdle race in France last March and therefore is not a novice. She’s priced up at about 10/1 for the boodles.'

                                Is this correct?
