  • Joe Chambers is incredibly bullish on twitter, more so than I've ever seen

Jeff Kidder last year just shows what can be lurking in any of these handicaps. Look at A Plus Tard, had basically 2 stone in hand when winning the Novice Handicap.

That’s why I think you can’t be backing this thing at shorter than 4/1 but different strokes etc.
Totally agree with the last sentence

From what I can gather they feel they have a potential 150+ horse running off 129. Ridiculous if that is the case, but great for us punters.

There's being 'well in' then there is the potential of this thing.

        • I personally can't understand why you need to find a hole in the favourite but then feel compelled to find an alternative that will have just as many holes but is a nice juicy price.
There are 28 races at the meeting to satisfy the quest for a winner, this is my first venture into the Fred Winter/Boodles so normally would not touch with the proverbial barge pole.
Being completely honest I very rarely touch handicaps and if they disappeared there would be fewer bookmakers around.
I will be there cheering my two bets on day one and cheering just as loudly the other 5 races that I have no financial interest in.
          GLA.

PS I was so glad to be in the same boat as Lee Motershead this morning when he declared he was on Jonbon 5/2 at least I have 4s and you can't beat being on a decent price loser.

            • Boodles is a race I'd rather not spend too much time on. Trying to pick out the winner of the triumph is back enough, never minds the handicap for them

I have found the same to be more of an interest, no more than 30 mins quickly zipping through races. Really need an unexposed horse - I guess thats obvious given its a festival handicap, but I'm watching these races to see who has been laid out once they have a mark.

I find it as interesting as the pertemp, and I spend no more than 30 minutes and 0.5-1pts on both races

Britzka and Ebasari are shortlisted for now. May have to go W/O fav just in case the Mullins' horse is stupidly well in

              • Has Gaelic Warrior been put up to 133? Showing as this in the sporting life race card?

Edit...ignore seems everything has been put up?

Still 129 on the RP site. Must be a typo.

                        • Ebisari out to 16/1 now, with Davy on board think that’s a great price. May have to top up.
