Jeff Kidder last year just shows what can be lurking in any of these handicaps. Look at A Plus Tard, had basically 2 stone in hand when winning the Novice Handicap.
That’s why I think you can’t be backing this thing at shorter than 4/1 but different strokes etc.

There's being 'well in' then there is the potential of this thing.

I personally can't understand why you need to find a hole in the favourite but then feel compelled to find an alternative that will have just as many holes but is a nice juicy price.
There are 28 races at the meeting to satisfy the quest for a winner, this is my first venture into the Fred Winter/Boodles so normally would not touch with the proverbial barge pole.
Being completely honest I very rarely touch handicaps and if they disappeared there would be fewer bookmakers around.
I will be there cheering my two bets on day one and cheering just as loudly the other 5 races that I have no financial interest in.
GLA.
PS I was so glad to be in the same boat as Lee Motershead this morning when he declared he was on Jonbon 5/2 at least I have 4s and you can't beat being on a decent price loser.

Boodles is a race I'd rather not spend too much time on. Trying to pick out the winner of the triumph is back enough, never minds the handicap for them
I have found the same to be more of an interest, no more than 30 mins quickly zipping through races. Really need an unexposed horse - I guess thats obvious given its a festival handicap, but I'm watching these races to see who has been laid out once they have a mark.
I find it as interesting as the pertemp, and I spend no more than 30 minutes and 0.5-1pts on both races
Britzka and Ebasari are shortlisted for now. May have to go W/O fav just in case the Mullins' horse is stupidly well in
