I still have a sneaky feeling Gordon is going to send Fil Dor to the Boodles, I think it will depend on home work between him and Pied Piper and if PP is out working him then he will split them.

Its not a race I have anything done in yet and probably wouldn't do GW at the prices, although I do think he will go off shorter or has the potential to anyway.

Of the 24 British trained horses, 20 currently have a lower rating than Gaelic Warrior, one of the ones above him, Knight Salute, is highly likely to end up in the Triumph. Willie also has three others entered, one of which needs another run and one other will be rated lower than Gaelic Warrior. You then have Fil Dor, who is more likely to run in the Triumph currently, as per Gordons quotes, although he could well change his mind. There are also enough Irish horse who are highly likely going to have a lower rating than Gaelic Warrior. JP also currently has 4 entered, I can't see all of them running.
All in all, I don't see a problem him getting in the race.

If there is any for him might be worth covering a half point on each for the boodles and triumph.
Imo he won’t be good enough for the triumph but a big price is worth a small play, if he’s not trying to win he could be another for WPM here.

Personally I think icare allen is triumph bound and will be trying to win today.
mullins isn't as quick as the likes of elliott to abandon graded plans for handicaps, the horse travelled into the race well last time and though was well held he wasn't disgraced at all.
I think mullins would be happy enough to let him go to the triumph as his second string provided he wins today and see if he can find the improvement necessary to get involved, especially as mullins already has the fave for the boodles and jp appears mob handed too.
