are we thinking pied piper comes here with the owner having the favourite in the triumph? You'd imagine they'd like to keep them apart, and in my opinion Fil Dor would look to prefer the more galloping nature of the new course where as watching Pied Piper he looks a bit speedier. The talk and market move about Britzka is interesting, but Gordon probably wouldn't be bothered about running two in the race, he did last year. 20/1 looks more than fair

Personally I think it's dangerous playing anything for the Boodles at this stage as horses, especially juveniles, can improve rapidly and most connections (I assume) will want a Triumph tilt if they think their horse has a chance.
Also, as a handicap, there's a degree of uncertainty around what sort of mark will be given especially the Irish horses.
I can see the logic, and the attraction, but there are just a few too many red flags for me to get involved in this race above all others...

IDS worth throwing half a point at I think.

If he wins today though, the danger is he goes Triumph instead ?

Surely they are barely into the 130s now the pair of them? So id imagine both could be trying today and wont be budged up too much

True, I’ve already got him backed for that though so just doing it as a bit of cover.

Yep, fully expect them both to be trying to win today. If they do and win well, then the Triumph must be more of a possibility. Therefore the Today/Boodles bet is risky. That was my point.

Iberique travelled nicely and wasn’t pushed around there I thought.

Britzka may be having many quick runs in succession as he was struggling at one point.

Took 25s Britzka. Looked like a lovely cheat-up from Davy...
