Lark;
He has entries in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle and the Triumph Hurdle. We would have liked to get another run into him prior to Cheltenham, but for various reasons we weren’t able to do that. The Boodles is his most likely target, but we are considering the Triumph, Fairyhouse and Aintree too. Better ground will be a big help to him.
Cossack;
He is an intended runner in the Boodles Juvenile Handicap Hurdle. We have been very happy with his progress over hurdles and his form has been working out well. Switching to handicap company will be a help to him and the better the ground, the better his chance.
Just for some reference, Sir Allen won the same race last season and went off 131 in the Boodles having already won on his previous run too.
Gordon must be frustrated with that.
Brutal.
He entered Ndaawi in some pony race a couple of weeks ago so would’ve known his mark. It doesn’t change the fact that it’s a bloody high mark, but perhaps gives some comfort that he entered him whilst already knowing him mark.
Fergal: "I love Teorie in the Boodles. He has a great attitude; he is a big price 25-1 but he is in great form. He disappointed a little bit at Musselburgh, but he beat older horse at Southwell, and he loves being a racehorse and being in amongst them. I am hoping he will run very well."
That's one to make note of, could be a massive price at some point with one of the bookies....already 33/1 NRNB but I'd see 50/1 easily ..... triple figures exchange etc

Let's hope so, I think he would have had a proper chance off 130, which is the high end of what I was expecting. 134 is place prospects for me now.
Followed the Jazzy Matty route recording ever so slightly better figures than him on the way, but also rated 9lbs higher than he was let into the race last season!
Milan Tino in the boodles, JP has waded into this one. Should be a similar move to crebilly in the plate.
Going to go really well, isn't he. Can't believe he was dropped 10lbs Given the way he ran at Cheltenham the last day, it's likely the old track will suit more too.
I think Eagle fang is being a bit overlooked here because of the trainer. Just looking back at the Naas race again over the last 5 years.
Jazzy Matty 4th - won boodles off 125
Brazil 1st - won off 137
Aramax 1st - won off 138
Band of Outlaws 1st - won off 139
Eagle Fang won it and is running off 127. He’s only 2lb above his Irish mark, which is very lenient for a juvenile. Also he was very well backed into favourite on the day so must have been showing plenty at home, and he won pretty easily going away at the finish. I just wonder if he’ll continue to be ignored and go off a good bit bigger on the day, definitely doesn’t seem to be much love for him atm.
