  • ….don’t think he pops in much but kudus to Scooby91 for tipping Jazzy Matty for this 14 months ago when the horse was called Jamestown. Much appreciated. To show it wasn’t a fluke, can you possibly give us next years winner?

      And double it up with next year's Lossiemouth/Blood Destiny (delete as appropriate).

      • In hindsight if you look back at that race which Sir Allen and Byker were also in, Jordan Gainford did Davy Russell proud with the ride he gave Jazzy Matty. Gordon's plethora of p2pers will be in good hands.

            • Someone asked me what the Lowest Weights carried were in the Boodles, to get in at the bottom of the handicap.

              I updated all the info on all 9 handicaps on post 1 page 1 of each thread.

              You can find the 9 handicap threads buried around page 8, 9 or 10 in this Cheltenham section.

              You can find them a little easier as I've added a Red circle emoji with a white exclamation mark to each handicap thread.

                ….might be worth copy & pasting those first posts into the new threads for this year as valuable reference material. Happy to do this if folk agree.

                  They are all there waiting. Just need to make a new post on the thread for each and they pull onto page 1 here.

                  • Now we have Handicap Entries out, I am giving each of the 9 Handicap Threads a Bump

                    Check out Post 1, Page 1 on each Handicap Thread

                    Has the last 10 year stats for

                    * winners,
                    * placed horses,
                    * ratings of all of those, and
                    * lowest rating to get in each race

                    Good luck

                    PS: If you have any key stats you want me to add to Post 1 in the Handicaps, post on the thread, and I will copy them over to Post 1

                      • Lark In The Mornin now 7/2 with Sky/PP/Betfair, ahead of a likely run at Naas at the weekend.

                        • Don’t like these juvenile plots, if it is a plot, in terms of a value point of view.

                          Does Lark In The Mornin have that much in hand that the market suggests? Had he been held back that much in his races that he should be this short?

                          He was hammered by Mighty Bandit on debut, who was subsequently hammered upped in Grade. He then ran on heavy coming 6th, now I’ve not watched the run back but how do we not know he just struggled with the ground that day and was trying? He’s been pulled from running on heavy the last 3 entries. I’ll need to watch but if someone remembers then that may clear that up. The winner again hammered upped in Grade and on his third start same again but on slightly better ground. I mean don’t get me wrong by his third start they obviously know he’s not good enough to go the Graded route (Triumph) but I don’t buy how much he could have in hand compared to his price.

                            I'm in agreeance with you. He's a disgusting price.

                              Looks like he'd thrive in a strongly run race
