I’m not going to overthink this race this year with all the Elliot plot jobs etc. I’ve gone all in on Gaelic warrior backed it from 14s to as low as 11/2. People can say he’s too short all they want but they know what they’re doing in the Mullins yard and it’s pretty obvious they expect it to win. If another 80/1 shot fancies it, then be my guest. I’ll just bang out the winner of the other 27 races and let this one go!Comment

Backing Gaelic Warrior with no racecourse hurdle experience in UK or Ireland is a very risky proposition. Although I do think the price will contract more I don't think its worth a bet at current prices.Comment

Nicholls did it with a couple here, Diego du Charmil and Sanctuaire, he also did it with Au Ptit Soins to win a Coral Cup but I think it’s all about the mark they’re given, when you see them work at home you know how good they are and UK racecourse experience becomes less relevant.Originally posted by NormaJean85 View Post
