  • Martin Brassil and JJ Slevin teamed up with the unlucky Fastorslow in today's Ultima now they team up once more with the well backed An Epic Song in this.

    • Literally have no clue what is going to win this, might just look at the exchange and see if something I like goes out to a large price

I can help you with that. Beacon Edge wins.

        • My three against the field would be Captain Conby, No Risk At All and Langer Dan. Nothing original but the race should suit each of them. Ground could rule out one of the first two mentioned as the Captain would prefer better ground and No Risk At All softer conditions.

            • I couldn't touch a British horse in a hurdles race now this week after the stuffing they got in the Supreme and Boodles
Like last year, the Irish will have their own way in the handicap hurdles.

Beacons Edge, Icare Allen and an Elliott horse for me.

This is the first year I've used the exchange and I love the small stake, huge odds plays you can take a swing at. One I've had a tiny, tiny play at in this is Grand Roi. One of those I can't really see winning but been fairly well backed in this the last two years and I'd be sick if I let a three figure price go and he won.

I like captain too, sheehy mentiomed he'd go on any ground too. Trainer thought he might be a graded animal.

He’ll be going best coming down the hill, just need to see if he can finish the race off. No Risk At All is also a great traveller which drew me to them off their reasonable weights.

                        • Sporting john at 120.0 off 151

Likes Cheltenham, likes a bit of dig

                          On a going day he's a 160 horse

Strongly run 2m5f probably the ideal trip for him

Beat the pertemps winner and 2nd in the Warwick qualifier last year off this mark

Unlikely but worth a quid or two

I do like him too. But ran 11 days ago. That puts me off. But can’t moan at 120s

                            • Like a few of you have mentioned, really like Captain Conby. I’ve also got Sa Fureur and Elvis Mail @ 100s (just looked to be better than the complete rag of the field especially if getting 6+ places)

Yep, I think that’s probably the way to approach the hurdles races this week
