    • Just had a quick peep at the entries/market for this. Didn't even get past the fav........do I need to? HMS Seahorse finished just 3 1/2 lengths and 2 places behind wonder horse Gaelic Warrior in the Boodles off levels....He then beat superstar Supreme horse IET at Punchestown ! He has since won comfortably on his only hurdles run this season. If GW and IET are Champion Hurdle horses for next season then HMS Seahorse must be a cert off 11stone in the Coral Cup.

Paul Nolan's record at the Festival is good from a place point of view as well.

Chopped his bollocks off and they think he has improved. Should start fav for me but my record in this race isn't great.

If IET and GW both win or go close then HMS should go off very short.

Nice ew prices. Very good place prospects with decent win opportunities. Doubles would be sensible as well.

It’s not often I find myself nodding in agreement Lobos, but it can happen occasionally

Good guy Paul Nolan, Was on the panel at one of Ball Mark's preview when it was held at the Plough in Prestbury, was very happy talking (and drinking !) all night with everyone, great company is Paul, would love to see him saddle another festival winner...

Paul is one of the genuine good guys of the business, he does a lot for the local community in Wexford away from his day job. Impossible not to like him! He’s very good when he gets the right ammunition too…

And has an enviable record of what he brings to the Festival that wins/places.

Seems like a top bloke. Was delighted for him when he managed to get some of his owners to buy Latest Exhibition instead of him going to Willie. Absolutely gutted for him though when Latest Exhibition passed away.

It’s not a plot he was just shit at chasing and hates soft ground which is why folks are marking him up for last years CC performance. The only plot was the one Philip Hobbs lost when he though a Lope De Vega would make a good novice chaser.

Attended a preview last Friday and Brian Cooper was asked about HMS Seahorse

He said he would be worried about the hussle and bussle of a Coral Cup for the horse

Went on to say he will ride Beacon Edge in the race and gives it a good EW chance
