The CORAL CUP Handicap Hurdle

Grand Roi
Coral Cup
Didn't take to fences the way we were hoping so could run in a handicap hurdle at Cheltenham, maybe the Coral Cup although nothing is set in stone.
Currently 33/1 NRNBOG - Went off 12/1 last year off 149 - currently 143
This is soooooooooo my kind of bet.
Was banging on about the case for him last year, so at a lower weight, I'm going again at a bigger price!

Does anyone like me think that Langer Dan will end up here ?? He's had two bites at the Pipe already and I think they'll try something new. He'll get beat by another Mullins Novice in the pipe anyway so might as well go Coral Cup that Willie has a poor record in.

I’ve had two goes at this race NRNB before entries come out.
May not pay-off on an early price basis, but I’m hoping to see
San Salvador 20/1 NRNB
Seddon 20/1 NRNB
In the Coral Cup entries tomorrow
It’s one of two races, that connections of each horse have nominated/suggested they will be entered for, and then to pick which one to run them in."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Interested for the Pipe with either too or is it this race specifically you'd fancy them more in?

San Salvador would get entries in the
Coral Cup
Martin Pipe
Jon McConnell, has said in various Stable Tours and interview in the last few weeks that he would enter
Seddon in the
Plate HcapCH
Coral Cup
and assess post-weights
Im assuming 140 over hurdles as that’s what he got for a BHA Performance Rating after he thrashed a field of Handicap Hurdlers at the Cheltenham October meeting.
He hasn’t ran over hurdles since.
He coasted in at Leopardstown in a HandicapChase at Christmas, and I expect the BHA capper to be around 140 for that too.
Both races 140 would be enough to get a run, maybe even at 138 he could
Whatever, he’d be low down the weights.
Hes a 10yo but that age profile, particularly in chases, could be changing given last years Festival where the BHA cappers were lowering Hcap marks quicker for those at age 10yrs+
Last Festival the 4 handicap chases were all won by British horses, aged 8, 10, 10 and 11.
Their ratings were 140, 136, 134 and 145.
Seddon has moved from Britain to Ireland and only had one Chase and one hurdle race in Ireland since that move, the other two were in Britain,Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 21 February 2023, 10:31 AM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

He knows he will get in lower down in the Coral Cup, for sure.
He is way too shrewd to suggest the M.Pipe until he knows the horses UK mark next Tuesday."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

….Historique Reconce bit of an odd one for Mullins. I noted her because of Saxon’s Race Planner. Last race she ran has a decent record when it comes to Coral Cup but I’ve not seen a price for her.
Suspect she needs more runs for a mark (unless her French runs count), but she has an entry. Hills have put her in at 14-1 which is way shorter than I thought.
