Nah, will get supplemented for the Mares Novice race and probably means Maries Rock goes Stayers with Epatante going also.

She's only 6 and the Mares Hurdle is looking really competitive so my pocket is hoping they leave it this year and go for the Coral Cup.

I seem to remember a very similar discussion last year about Marie’s Rock. Many on here were making very forceful cases as to why she should run in the coral cup rather than the mares. I’d be surprised if TG doesn’t end up in the mares personally. She is improving fast and there’s a good chance she’d have her favoured ground.

Someone in the 14 people syndicate has told me it'll be Mares or nowhere, nowhere if the ground went soft/heavy. The better the ground the better her chance.

Makes Marie's Rock even more likely for the Stayers imo especially with Epatante certain to go there if all is ok with CH.

Hendo has a different jockey for Epatante so I don't think she makes any difference.

Agree. That's why they'll wait until the last minute to see what the two races look like. I really can't make up my mind which race looks easier ATM. The Mares would look easier without Epatante so I suppose Henderson is in control of that. Would Henderson like a good chance of winning both the Mares Hurdle and the Stayers or a very good chance of winning just the Mares Hurdle.......... intriguing stuff.

Will be interesting to see how Samarrive runs on Saturday. Still lightly raced and feasibly weighted over hurdles a good run here and, ideally, a drop of a couple of pounds would see him well placed for this or the Martin Pipe.

Already qualified for the Pertemps Nov @ Punchestown. He looked to be tanking between the 2nd last & last, a must watch. Shewearsitwell (form franked) and Im Immortal just getting the better on the run-in. At first I thought this was a real cheat-up. After that he went and ran over an inadequate trip 2.3m finishing really well in 2nd.
Ive backed this horse for the Pertemps thinking of no other race. On reflection ive decided that maybe this is the plan all along & with a bit of uk tax will get in nicely at the bottom. Currently 20/1 NRNB I'm convinced whatever race this horse decides to run in he will go very close.
