    Looks like that's been done through Ashdale Bob

    • Lobos Shunter catches my eye also. Having a bet now, as he's been cut by places.

      Lower mark than chase.

      Ran nicely at Punchestown which was his 5th run since February. Fresher this year.

        Don't know what's stopping me pulling the trigger. I wish Emmett wasn't such a mute.

          Sure it would be NRNB anyway?

          Might do the Manifesto double...

          Shunter/Protektorat 152/1

            Make it a treble with Fusil Raffles in the plate

            • …Drop the Anchor seems very popular on the previews I’ve watched. Kevin Blake napped it.

                yep ran well in last years county - it’s a nice handicap double with winter fog in the pertemps. Throw in Langer Dan for the treble and it will be happy days.

                  ….actually did that double myself last night, taking ante-post prices with 365; 16-1 WF, 14-1 DtA. Notice WF now into 9-1

                  • ….looking at tomorrows Morebattle entries and potential bonus seekers.

                    Saint D’Oroux;
                    trained by S Crawford has one Festival entry in Coral Cup, runs tomorrow with a 10lb claimer on board. Looks like it needs a weight rise to get in the CC. Owned by Munir/Souede, previously with Elliott, ran down the field in last years County. After a 278 day break won a race at Kelso early last month. A ‘win Morebattle/CC’ offer might be of interest.

                      Wow you really think 138 might not get in eggs? That would knock a lot of fancied horses out. Imo 138 is a perfect spot to be in.

                        ….yep, I’m sure you’re right. I like the Morebattle, though, especially after The Shunter plot last year. Favoir came 3rd in that and Skelton has another attempt tomorrow.

                        • Cormier, Faivoir, and Saint D'Oroux the ones of interest to me too. I prefer the first two though, and if pushed I'd side with Cormier.

                              The current plan is that The Shunter comes here rather than the chase options.
