Dan Skelton just said Coral Cup will be top of the list but likely to be entered in County and MP. Dan said he wanted to drop the horse back to 2m but Harry told him no before this race! Said he probably won't run over 2m til he goes chasing next season. Won that off 130, going to get about 7-9lbs? I'm on him any race before today at 20s and going to top up on the Coral Cup at 14-16s.

Making my move for Queens Brook now with Hills going 20/1 NRNB 5 places. Think she's a superb bet on these terms. Gordon has targeted the race with Mares before and surely he's not going to waste her mark of 131?
Her run in the Champion Bumper looks exceptional, especially as it was only her second run under rules and the third of her life. If you look at the horses behind her TTL achieved a peak hurdles rating of 143, Eskylane 145, even Julies Stowaway who was well behind 133. So whilst we haven't seen the best of her over hurdles yet, I feel confident she is at least a 140 horse. Trip looks ideal, she seems to favour better ground and course form a huge boost. No risk now with NRNB.
Surely he is going to be trying particularly hard for the Moran's this year. Make it happen GordonLast edited by Can't Catch Me; 28 January 2022, 03:21 PM.

Hopefully see her run a nice race in 3rd or 4th in the Mares handicap at the DRF to put her spot on for this. Surely he is going to be trying particularly hard for the Moran's this year. Make it happen Gordon
….stable tour clearly states Mares Hurdle target, suggesting he thinks she will win it. Saying that, after her last win Elliott mentioned she might take in a handicap next.
i looked but didn’t notice her in the DRF entries. I thought her hurdling was slick last time she ran but Elliott said she’s very difficult to get fit.

My Coral Cup fancy Whiskey Sour goes today. Id be astonished if it wins, hopefully it finishes a fair way behind saint felicien and gets dropped a couple of lbs.
I just noticed that he used this race as a prep for Wicklow Brave the year he got nabbed on the line
I had one eye on it running in the County but Willie hasnt sent a horse older than 8 there in the last 10 yearsLast edited by Jrow; 30 January 2022, 08:42 AM.
