    • Can't say I fancied him too much over fences but he's just paid for my festival and a bit more.

Its gone down a massive 20lbs off its chase rating and was racing with the likes of Rouge Vif, Al dancer and Notebook. The horse has been racing over hurdles and has an entry for the county hurdle, personally I think the horse would have a much better chance here in a weak race. Buddy rich I have been tempted and I just can't help but think the horse lacks finishing its races off. Global Citizen is still 50/1 which I think is so over priced.
Called it a few days ago I knew the horse was well in for this

        • Frero Banbou backers can feel a little cheated there. How an earth are you giving so much ground at the start? Need to be in the front 5-6 of these big fields given the conditions

          • Absolutely brilliant. Maybe the British horses being dropped is the way to go in these handicaps.

            • As if the day couldn't get any worse, I thought I'd backed Global Citizen and I realised I only had him in a multiple.

              • Fair play Global backers, thought he needed a flatter deck. Odd tactics with Gumball on a day when you need to be up there.

Fair play, wish it was the county but I'm still happy with a 50/1 winner

Gave him the same ride in the Dolos race. Easy to see why that day now in hindsight, but that was a shocker today.

                    • The winner did win the Wayward Lad Novices Chase and 4th in the Arkle behind Put the Kettle On - but then seemed to lose his way over fences. Fiddle or inspired training?

It's the weight penalty of my tips that does it.

think if you take a look at my diary I pointed out a while back he had wind problems, successful wind surgery has seen him return to a 150 horse, so it's neither a fiddle or inspired training, just a horse running to his form
