Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

  • Keith Donoghue - My Mate Mozzie

"We're leaning towards the Grand Annual with him but we'll see closer to the time what makes it to the Arkle, because that could cut up," Donoghue said.

"We were delighted with his run at Christmas and I think the Grand Annual could suit him. In the Grand Annual we will need a little bit of luck on our side but he'd run off 146, so he could have a nice weight and it could be the one to go for, whereas he might only get placed in the Arkle."

      • Spent a bit of time studying this race and I’m a bit of genius so prob wise to listen up. Looking at the prices of the winners over the past 10 years I decided it’s best to stay away from the top of the market. Anyway the horse I landed on was straw fan Jack. 4th in last years Arkle and seems like he’s been running at the wrong trip ever since and now looks extremely well handicapped. Interestingly global citizen is a horse that finished 4th in an Arkle and has won this race. He also has other 2 mile form around Cheltenham beating Ash tree meadow by half a length only getting 3lbs. Ashtree is currently rated 159 and SFJ only 133. Here comes the only issue, previous years would tell you his mark is too low to get into the race. However looking through the list with only 38 entries he definitely has half a chance of sneaking in right at the bottom. Half of the Irish horses don’t look like they’re going here and he’s rated above a handful of the English horses and some of them will go elsewhere too. I suppose this is the beauty of NRNB. It’s either we lose nothing or else we’re on a 25/1 cert. Happy Easter lads!

I guess you just saw my post on my diary 4 days ago and thought you'd get involved....now that's genius

          I'm only kidding!

His back form has him with a right chance, but I don't think he's getting into the race unfortunately. They could run him after weights are published and pick up a 5lb penalty then he could get in.

I've had a fairly sizeable bet, for me at least, on him, and I plan on adding more.

lol no I didn’t see, just went back and read it there now. They do say great minds think alike so I’m sure you’ll sleep well tonight knowing your mind is in full working order

            • Mozzie got collateral - 150. Tough for novices off 150+ - say it every year.

Surely he'd win the Arkle if he can win the GA off 150!

                • Gordon been teasing a chase handicap for three season for Fils Doudairies and handicapper teasing him with a lower chase mark. Not much lower mind but off 144 that's competitive range.

Thrown in off 150 then surely he’d win this seasons Arkle?

And you reckon Mozzie isn't thrown in ??!! He'd pick FD up and spit him out giving him just 6lbs!!

He's trolling - leave him to play with his nipples.

I was hopeful they'd run him in the Galway Plate last year off 137
